This policy applies to the website homehubprep.de. A separate privacy policy applies to the customer portal at app.homehubprep.de and is available there.
We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing takes place regularly only with the user's consent or where permitted by law.
This website does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the website. No audience measurement, tracking or analysis of your browsing behaviour takes place. Consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG is therefore not required.
All fonts used on this website are served exclusively from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts. Your IP address is not transmitted to any third party for this purpose.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers; the configured server location is the Frankfurt am Main region (EU). This is done in the interest of providing our website securely, quickly and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.
Where personal data is transferred to the United States, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). Vercel Inc. is certified under that framework.
When the website is accessed, information is automatically collected (including IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type). This data is used solely for the technical provision and security of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you contact us via the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you submit (e.g. name, email address, message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Contact form: We use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA) to transmit form data. The data you enter is processed there solely for the purpose of forwarding it to us. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. As the provider is based in the United States, data is transferred to a third country; the transfer is safeguarded by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. A copy of these safeguards can be requested using the contact details above.
WhatsApp: Our website contains a link allowing you to contact us via WhatsApp. The link itself does not establish a connection to WhatsApp; a connection is only made once you click it. If you contact us this way, we process your message and phone number in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We have no influence over the data processing carried out by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. and its group companies; their privacy terms apply. If you wish to avoid this, please use email or phone instead.
In the course of our services — warehouse logistics, goods preparation and shipping — we process personal data in two roles that must be distinguished.
Data of our business customers: For the master, contract and billing data of our clients we are the controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR. We process this data to establish and perform the contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to comply with statutory retention obligations under tax and commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 147 AO and Section 257 HGB).
Data of our business customers' end customers: Where we ship goods on behalf of our clients to their end customers, we process the recipient data required for this purpose exclusively on documented instructions as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The respective client remains the controller. This is based on a data processing agreement concluded with them. Data subjects should address requests for access or erasure to the merchant they ordered from; we forward any such requests without undue delay.
Data is only passed on where necessary for order fulfilment, in particular to the transport company commissioned with the shipment.
Your personal data is only transferred to third parties where this is necessary for contract performance, you have consented, or a legal obligation exists.
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
This privacy policy is currently valid. Amendments may be required due to the further development of the website or changes in legal requirements.
